John Wilburn Graham, 97, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Southern Magnolia in Golden, MS. He was born in Itawamba County, MS to Charlie C. and Virgil Johnson Graham. He was a retired construction worker and was a member of Golden United Methodist Church. He loved to raise Santa Gertrudis and Angus cattle. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 14, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Donnie Riley officiating. Burial will be in Dennis Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his nephews, David Wiginton, Dudley Strickland, Raymond Timmons, Milton Timmons, David Graham and Roger Graham and niece, Donna Ivy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Graham; his parents; one brother, Grady Graham and one sister, Annie Mae Timmons.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Timmons, Milton Timmons, Joe Bostick and Charlie Paden. Honorary pallbearers will be Thurman Epps, Tillman Ivy, Jimmy Tate and James Neal Thompson.
Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
