James Michael Nichols, 69, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at Helen Keller Hospital Sheffield, AL. The graveside service will be at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Mount Hope Methodist Cemetery with Janice Wells officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home Directing.
Born on December 15, 1953, to James Nichols and Mary Faye Bailey, James enjoyed working on his cars.
Survivors include his; four children, Susan Nichols, Michael Nichols (Barbara), James Nichols (Crystal), and Jessie Rose Daniels; father, James Dewey Nichols Sr.; nephew, Willy Roberts (Lisa); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Becky Cummings (David), Janice Wells (Donny), and Betty Mae Palmer; two brothers, Brian Borden, Buddy Nichols; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Faye Bailey; sister, Jeanie Faye Hill; two brothers, Brent Borden and Danny Nichols.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
