Funeral service for Amy Jane Brooks Wilkerson Davis, age 46, of Hazel Green, AL will be held at 1pm on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Wiser officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 11am to 1pm on Thursday at Higgins. A private family burial at Stewart Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Amy was born July 26, 1976, in Lincoln County, TN to the late James Clayton “Buddy” and Jean Sisk Brooks. She cherished caring for her parents and enjoyed the life of being raised on a dairy farm. Amy loved family gatherings, especially 4th of July at the creek, working in her flowers, and animals of all kinds. She worked as a caregiver for others and was a member of Friendship Church of Christ. Amy passed away March 28, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Davis; son, Clayton Wilkerson, granddaughter, Elliot Wilkerson; sister, Lisa Reese; brothers Ronnie (Jan) Brooks, and Eddie (Robbie) Brooks; and in-laws, Tim and Sylvia Davis; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Jean Brooks; and brother-in-law, Kerry Reese.
