Scottie Lynn Wilburn, born March 10, 1968, age 55, of Athens, Alabama passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Athens Limestone Hospital.
He was the son of the late Woodrow Wilburn and the late Dorothy Dixon Wilburn.
Mr. Wilburn has lived around the Athens area his whole life and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Dennis Wilburn.
He is survived by one son, Casey (Cayla) Wilburn, one daughter, Jessica (Steve) Moore, two brothers; Ray (Tammy) Wilburn and Stanley (Kay) Wilburn, three sisters; Kathy (Dexter) Landers, Linda (Tommy) Wallace, and Nancy (George) Greene, one grandchild, Nora Wilburn, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, as well as two grand dogs, Hooch and Rossi Moore.
A visitation will be held for Mr. Wilburn at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, March 20, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM with a Chapel Service scheduled to follow beginning at 2:00 PM. Bro. Dexter Landers will be officiating the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
