Robert Lee Williamson, age 81 of Houston, passed away on March 12, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 13, 1932 in Cullman, AL to William Washington and Ethel Elizabeth Williamson. He worked as a lineman for Bell South Telephone Company for 38 years. He enjoyed farming, raising a garden and sharing with family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 6-9pm at Houston Baptist Church in Houston, where services will be held on Friday, March 15 at 10am. Reverends Jerry Baker and Donnie Carroll will officiate. Burial will be in Burdick Cemetery in Houston.
He is survived by his sons, Dale Williamson, Bill Williamson; step-daughter, Mary Ann Smith and her husband Tommy; sister, Mary Elizabeth Kyte; he was Pop to 4 grandchildren, Derek Williamson, Mariah Williamson, Angie Martin, Melissa Jacques; 3 great grandchildren, Emily Jacques, Andrea Jacques and Chris Gravitt.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Williamson; parents, William Washington Williamson and Ethel Elizabeth Williamson.
