Michael Eugene Cross age 68, of Arab, formerly of Mississippi, passed away Monday March 13, 2023, at Marshall Manor Nursing Home. Michael was born on Feb. 6, 1955, in Greenville, Mississippi, the son of Willie P. and Idell Avritt Cross. Michael moved to Arab from Mississippi about 12 years ago. He was an EMT for many years and was a member of the Union Grove Masonic Lodge #320, where he currently was serving as Worshipful Master. Survivors include his sister: Susan (Levone) Sutton;
niece: Jennifer Arrington (Jeremy Harris); nephew: Christopher (Theresa) Frazier; great nieces: Mea Arrington and Michelle Frazier and great nephew: Dale Arrington. A family graveside service will be held later in Mississippi. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the family with cremation arrangements.
