Mr. WC “Buggs” Brown, Jr., age 62, resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at his residence.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on December 17, 1960, in Loretto, WC was the son of the late WC Brown, Sr. and the late Joan Carolyn Webb Brown. He was a painter, business owner and contractor. WC was an avid outdoorsman, especially deer hunting and fishing. He was also a big Nascar, UT Vols and Tennessee Titans fan. WC loved his truck! He also enjoyed grilling at the river but most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
WC is survived by his sons, WC “Trae” (Kirby) Brown, III of Columbia, Bobby (Lorie Jane) Brown of Decatur, AL, and Travis Wiseman (Paige Wolfe) of Columbia, daughter, Beth Wiseman of Mt. Pleasant, brother, Mike (Lenis) Brown of Hazelgreen, AL, sister, Lisa (Kenneth) Odom of Hastings, FL, grandchildren, Layla Brown, Peyton Brown, Yumiko Brown, Yuna Brown, Caleb Brown, Anna Wiseman, Mia Wiseman, Kayden Wiseman, and Ryan Gray, niece, who was like a daughter to him, Jennifer Foster, best friend, Charles Raines, good friends, Kim Dalton, Melissa Davis (like a daughter to him), Billy and Joyce Capps, girlfriend, Bonnie, and mother of two of his children, Pam Brown.
In addition to his parents, WC was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Jennifer Wiseman.
Honorary pallbearers will include Charles Raines, Jason Webb, Ken Webb, Bill Webb, Billy Capps, Randy Kelley, and Shaun Moore.
