Mr. John Michael Jacobs, age 68, of Rock Island, TN, died Monday, March 06, 2023. He was born June 14, 1954, in Kingsport, TN, was a Christian by faith, and retired from Nissan Automotive. John enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids. Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by his parents Jack Bernard and Juanita Mae Fisher Jacobs, brother-in-law Richard Conditt, and niece Jessica Rae Jacobs.
Survivors include his children Chris (Gina) Jacobs and Jason (Amanda) Jacobs, sister Judy Conditt, brother James (Pattie) Jacobs, former wife Susan Elaine Jacobs, special friends Sally Singles and Jill, Jan Leslie and Megan Ray, niece Jackie (Michael) Scarbury, grandchildren Lindsey (Ross) Rogers, Jeffrey (Ariel) Darrell, Whitney Darrell, Chase Darrell, Kaci Jacobs, Blake Jacobs, Chloe Jacobs, Beck Jacobs, Bryce Jacobs, Jordan Chadwell, Lexie Chadwell, and J.J. Jacobs, and great grandchildren Saylor Rogers, Asher Rogers, Trinity Darrell, Greyson Darrell, Vivienne Darrell, Ellianna Darrell, Cove Blanke, and River Blanke.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 09, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
