Mrs. Phyllis Jean Warrick, age 88, of Huntsville passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 12, 1934 to parents Alfred Jean Baptiste Campbell and Katherine Eleanor Cavanagh.

Mrs. Warrick lived a life as a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and resided in Illinois, California, and Oregon, before finally making her final home Huntsville, Alabama. She served in the United States Army, within the Women’s Army Corp, was a graduate of California State University in Northridge, and was an avid reader, painter, and a proud member of MENSA for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Jean Baptiste Campbell and Katherine Eleanor Cavanagh, siblings, Alfred Campbell, Katherine Campbell, John Lawrence Campbell, Frances Campbell, and Thomas Ryan, as well as her first husband, Carl Richard Lo Curto, and second husband, Richard Warrick.

Mrs. Warrick is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Taylor and son-in-law, Ricky Taylor; her son, Michael Lo Curto and daughter-in-law, Anna Lo Curto; her daughter, Katherine Lo Curto; and sister, Patricia Cotter. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jesse Taylor, Emily Taylor, Damon Lo Curto, Creedence Shaw, Levi Shaw, Megan Shaw, and Zachary Perry, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service for Mrs. Warrick will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with a private graveside burial service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Downtown Rescue Mission at 1400 Evangel Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35816.
