Vaudine Frost, 86, of Mt. Hope passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Burns Nursing and Rehab in Russellville, Al. Visitation will be from 6pm till 8pm on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mt. Hope.
Born on March 21, 1936, to Nealy and Susie Hood Frost Vaudine enjoyed chasing all her nieces and nephews who she considered her own children.
Survivors include her brother, J. Neal Frost of Mt. Hope; three nephews, Clayton Flannagan (Cindy), Carlus Flannagan, and Marcus Dover (Carrie); two nieces, Whitney Pitt (Tyler) and Ivy Frost; seven great-nieces; seven great-nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nealy and Susie Hood Frost; sister, Maybell Dover; and one great-nephew, Jamie Flannagan.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Flannagan, Carlus Flannagan, Marcus Dover, Randy Wright, Lucas Wright, and Tyler Pitt.
The family extends special thanks to nurse Lindley and the staff at Burns Nursing Home in Russellville for the wonderful care they gave to their “Frosty”. She loved you all.
