Ronald Wayne Malone, 74 of Arab passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born April 16, 1948, in Marshall County the son of Shirley H. Malone and Mae Cason Malone. He was a graduate of Fairview High School and married Wilda Jan Jones Malone on August 21, 1981.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Jan Malone; stepson: Michael Leslie Jones; step grandson: Daniel James Jones, his fiancée Kristina; sisters: Mildred Wohlers, Edith Clark (Earl) and Dorothy McKinnon; brothers: Duaine Malone and Keith Malone (Pamela); host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Shirley and Mae Malone, sister: Lois Lake, her husband: Everett Lake, brothers-in-law: Daniel Irvin McKinnon and William Wohlers.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2023, at the Chapel of Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, with Brother Greg Stone and Brother Larry Dyar officiating. Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery in Cullman County, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
