Mr. John Phillip Allen Sr., age 86 of Scottsboro, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Cloverdale Manor.
John was born on March 25, 1936 in Alabama to Ray Buford and Sue Jane Allen.
He is survived by his son, John Allen, Rob (Denise) Allen, Jeff (Amy) Allen, James (Michelle) Allen; grandchildren, Misty Allen, Breanna (Ryan) DuVall, Brittany Allen, Jamie Allen, Alaina Allen; sisters, Barbara McAllister, Sylvia (Charles) Cornelison; sister in-law, Delores Allen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Allen; parents, Ray and Sue Jane Allen; sisters, Mary Jane (Bill) Heaton; brothers, James Paul Allen,Henry Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Nila Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Hytop Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Saturday at the Scottsboro Funeral Home.
