Captain Brett Moyer, 53,Tupelo Police Department, departed this life unexpectedly at his residence in Tupelo in the early morning of Friday, Feb. 17, 2023. Captain Moyer had served faithfully since 1999 as a much loved and respected policeman in the City of Tupelo. He was a US Air Force Veteran, the husband of Amber Moyer and dad to Hannah Flake and Kirsten Moyer.
A service celebrating his life, with police and military honors, will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. Visitation will be from 4 PM-7 PM Monday and from 10 AM-service time on Tuesday, all at the funeral home.
