Mrs. Annie Elizabeth McCoy, age 84 of Albertville, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Gene Lambert and Brother Shane Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 2:00 pm till the time of service, burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons Rickey McCoy (Susie), Neal McCoy (Connie), and Phillip Earl McCoy; sisters Janie Bates, and Evelyn Shirey; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Mrs. McCoy was preceded in death by her parents Jess and Iula Sams; husband Junior McCoy; son Barry McCoy; great granddaughter Nilah Celeste McGuire; sisters Dean Cook, Francis Richey, Mildred Rowell, Nettie Johnson, Gwen Tucker, and Winnie Wallace; brothers Robert Sams, Wendell Sams, Donald Sams, Earnest Sams, and Leon Sams; and brother-in-law Ervin Bates.
Pallbearers will include Todd Epps, Lucas Epps, Josh McCoy, Nic Mashburn, Jakob McCoy, and Layzane Gregory.
