Dr. Satish C. Mahajan, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General with his loving wife by his side at the age of 87.
He was born on December 6, 1935, in India the son of the late Bihari L. Mahajan and Leela Wati Mahajan. Dr. Mahajan was employed with Lane College as a Professor of Biology.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Raj Sehgal Mahajan of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Swatee Mahajan Berta of Mt. Juliet, TN; his brother, M. K. Mahajan of India; a daughter-in-law, Rinkoo Aggarwal of Louisville, KY and five grandchildren, Asha Mahajan, Rana Mahajan, Caleb Berta, Colin Berta, and Chace Berta.
Dr. Mahajan’s family will conduct a private service.
