Ray Harbor, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at River Place Nursing Center in Amory. He was born July 21, 1938 to the late James “Jim” Harbor and the late Bessie Davis Harbor. He retired from Super D Drug Store in 1999. He was member of Pine Grove Church of Christ where he enjoyed song leading and being involved with his church. Ray enjoyed traveling, gardening, especially growing tomatoes, cooking, fishing, reading western books and spending time with his family and friends.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday February 18, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home with Ministers Haston Handley, and Wade Bryan officiating.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Michael) Simpson of Amory, sons, Johnny Harbor of Fulton, and Adam (Wendy) Harbor of Fulton, grandchildren, Caleb (Brianna) Harbor of Twin Bridges, MT, Noah Harbor of Twin Bridges, MT, Lydia Harbor of Dillon, MT, and Everitt Harbor of Fulton, and a great granddaughter, Amelia Lee Harbor.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Joan Harbor, parents, James “Jim” and Bessie Harbor, grandchildren, Lorena Harbor, and J.W. Harbor, several sisters, and 1 brother.
