Ms. Addie Mae Moody, age 92, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 in Lexington. She was born October 30, 1930 in Henderson County to the late William and Ardie Bell Maness Tate. She was a homemaker. Ms. Moody was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Richard Moody; two sons, Alvin Moody and J D Moody; one daughter, Madine Woods; four brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include her son, Mr. Thomas Moody; daughter, Linda Brewer; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Mazies Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, 10 AM – 8 PM and on Saturday, 10 AM – 2 PM.
