Tuscumbia Drug Bust Nets Suspect Charged With Intent To Sell Fentanyl

TUSCUMBIA-Tuscumbia Police Chief Tony Logan issued a press release on the arrest of a suspect who has been charged with possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances in the case of this investigation the drug was Fentanyl:

“On February 8, 2023 the Tuscumbia Special Operations Group(TSOG) along with investigators/officers of the Tuscumbia Police Department along with members of the Colbert County Drug Task Force and the Alabama Law Enforcement State Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 602 Baker Blvd Apartment C in Tuscumbia. The search warrant was executed to search for drugs specifically Fentanyl. Upon making entry officers located one male in the living room and he was taken into custody without incident. A second person was located in the bathroom flushing items believed to be controlled substances down the toilet.

Arrested at the scene was Elisiah Jawan Willis age 21 of Tuscumbia. He has been charged with possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances specifically Fentanyl. He is being held at the Colbert County Jail and no bond has been set at the time of this release.” ~ Tony Logan Chief of Police
