Bobby "Porky" Spears Profile Photo A Celebration of Life memorial service with Military Honors for Bobby Wayne “Porky” Spears is set for Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Bro. Dewayne Floyd will officiate the service. Born May 12, 1936 in Earle, Arkansas, Mr. Spears passed away on February 1, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union County.  He was of the Baptist faith and a retired used parts salesman for Browns Used Cars and Parts with 27 years of service.  He is a United States Army veteran. Porky loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He loved helping others, fishing, gardening and mowing the lawn. Porky was a Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do at Crossroads Marshall Arts;  He started Tae Kwon Do at the age of 63 and he had his last sparing fight at the age of 78. Those left behind to cherish Porky’s memory includes his wife of 48 years, Diane Spears; daughters, Rebecka Carter and husband Scotty and Koral Hogue and husband Jeremy; step daughter, Kari Barris and husband Ronnie; step son, Paul Stephens; 11 grandchildren, Anaclaire Miller, Daniel Rice and wife Becky, Sean Rice and wife Stefanie, Wyatt Barris and wife Kristen, Marshal Barris, Joey Stephens, Alex Stephens, Jeret Hogue, Emmie Hogue, Dixie Hogue and Cable Hogue; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Betty McAfee; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Arch Spears; mother, Elvie Beavers Spears; and brother, Willard Spears. In lieu  of flowers the family ask that memorial donations be made to The Autism Foundation. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Bobby Wayne “Porky” Spears.
