james bJames Martin Roy, age 86, of Summertown, TN passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at his residence in Summertown. He was raised in Summertown , TN, owner and operator of the Four Sixes Liquor Store in Mount Plesant TN for many years. Mr Roy served his country during WWII as a Marine, earning a Purple Heart during his tour of duty in Okinawa Japan. He was  a member of the VFW, The American Legion, and The Elks Lodge. Mr Roy was a lifelong poker enthusiast; having played in the very first World Series of Poker Tournament in Las Vegas NV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Margaret Greene Roy.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2013.
