Mrs. Vernie Jean Thompson , age 76 of Cordova died Tuesday, January 31,2023 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
She is preceding in death by her husdand Gary Thompson, her parents Mary Boie Laird and William Jean, and bothers Pete and Richard Jean.
She is survived by her childern Tacy Houseworth (Brandon), Tina Daugherty, and Danny Thompson, and beloved grandchildern, Jessica Ferguson (Clifton), Tiffany Kulick (Logan), Benjamin Wakefield (Tessa), Dayton Wakefield (Sarah), Tabitha Gills (Fabien), Tim Daugherty (Anna), Alexis Thompson, D.J. Thompson, Kasey Martin (Markice), Cody Martin and TJ Martin, Her sisters Faye Sanders, Ann Westbrook and Shirley Bell, with a host of great grandchildern.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 04,2023 at 1:00pm. In the Bell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Odom Memorial in Parrish, AL. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00pm-1:00pm.
