(Lt Col, USAF, Ret.), Robert Ervin Bamberg, 62, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Centerpoint Fellowship Church at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Centerpoint from 8:30 until 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Mr. Bamberg was a Bronze Star Medal recipient and a USAF Command Pilot with over 3000 combat hours. Mr. Bamberg was preceded in death by his father, Buford Bamberg; and a brother, Keith Bamberg. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Denise Bamberg; his mother, Frances Bamberg; two sons, Ian Bamberg (Hannah), Zach Bamberg; brother, Richard Bamberg (Joy); sister-in-law, Debbie Bamberg; and numerous extended family members and many friends.
