Atha Walker Garrison, 73 of Arab passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Albertville. Atha was born May 1, 1949, in Marshall County the daughter of Lawrence L. Walker and Emma Lou Green Walker. She was a 1967 graduate of Arab High School and a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brothers: Junior Walker, wife Barbara and Larry Walker, wife Shelia; nieces and nephews: Pamela Kay Yancey, Lee Walker, Jim Walker Kevin Walker, Jamey Walker and Leslie Norris; host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lawrence and Emma Lou Walker, siblings: Linda Yancey, Kathleen Walker, Wanda Gaddis and Buck Walker.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel with John Tuck officiating. Burial will be in Oleander Cemetery, with Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
