Vada Helen Gray Kay, 99, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and Harmony Homemaker’s Club, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and quilting. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Friday, March 8 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Mary Lou Tickell and Rev. Ronnie Goodwin. Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – Jerry L. Kay of Woodstock, GA; 1 daughter in law – Margaret Kay of Savannah, TN; 1 sister – Vella Gray Gann of Corinth, MS; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and beloved caregivers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. Kay; her parents, W.W. and Martha Gray; her son, Charles H. Kay; her daughters in law, Lynda Lee Kay and Linda J. Kay; her brothers, Lindsey, Sam, Neil, and Huley Gray; and her sister, Gladys Jones. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
