Mr. Alvin Curtis Brannon Alvin Curtis Brannon, age 72, of Arab, Alabama passed away on December 31, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital.

Mr. Brannon was born to Joe Ray Brannon and Mildred Vernell Miller on July 10, 1950. Mr. Brannon was married to Gidget Brown Brannon, who survives him. He worked in the construction business as a carpenter and helped run Granny Nell’s Restaurant in Morgan City for many years. Mr. Brannon attended Brindlee Mountain Church of God in Morgan City, Alabama. Alvin was very creative. He enjoyed art and ran a T-shirt shop at one time. He enjoyed physical fitness and took pleasure in lifting weights and staying in shape.

Mr. Brannon is survived by his wife, Gidget Brown Brannon; son, Joe Brannon; brother, Troy Wayne Brannon and grandchild, Phillip Kujala.

Preceding Mr. Brannon in death are his parents; Joe Ray Brannon and Mildred Vernell Miller Brannon, sisters; Martha Jo Kritner, Kathy Marie Skinner, and Karen Teresa Louk.
Visitation will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel at 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on January 2, 2023. A graveside service will be held for Mr. Alvin C. Brannon at Gilliam Springs Cemetery. Friends and family will re-unite at the cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
