Julie Anne Eldridge Pottorff, age 70 of Estill Springs, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Miami, Florida on December 29, 1951, to the late William Frank and Helen Irene (Griffin) Eldrige. Before her retirement, Julie was a receptionist in the medical field for forty years and had worked at Best Western for five years. She enjoyed watching cooking shows for new recipes, playing games on her tablet, playing bingo, and making jewelry. She was a life-long Disney and Hallmark fan. Julie will be remembered for her loving nature and her ability to make her house a home…she was a wonderful homemaker and loved her family more than anything. Her friends and family know there is rejoicing in Heaven, where she is reunited with her late husband. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Pottorff; and grandson, Eric Pelt. Julie is survived by her sister, Helen (Ray) Mueller; children, Karen Hampton, Barbara (Sean) Doughtie, and Jennifer (Shawn) Allen, Frank Bishop; grandchildren, Jana, Hailey, Michael, Savannah, Lynna, Kaitlyn, Lexie, Eric, William, Kylie, Jonathan, Cara, and Jacob; and several great-grandchildren.
