Johnny D. Boling, age 68, passed away at the North Mississippi Medical Center on December 26, 2022. He was born in Clarksdale to Jimmy and Bobbie Nale Pettit Boling. For many years he worked as a security guard for Superior Products. Johnny enjoyed fishing and was a talented artist, drawing pictures for friends and family to enjoy.
He is survived by his two nieces, Barbara Thrasher of Pontotoc and Sherry Newman of Mantachie; a nephew, William Merchant of Rolling Fork; three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jimmy Lee Boling and two sisters, Barbara Nale Thrasher and Iness Merchant.
The family will honor Johnny’s memory with a time of visitation from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Pegues Funeral Directors, Tupelo.
