Virginia Elsie Smith Skidmore, age 81, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Virginia was a faithful member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed her friends at church and loved her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles Skidmore; daughter, Marqueta Cook; and parents, William Lester & Elsie Vivian (Handley) Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son-in-law, Stephen Cook; grandchildren, Catherine Stinson (Trey), Charles Cook (Anna); great-grandchild, Riley Stinson; special nephew, Jason Skidmore (Shannon); brother, William Smith(Areda), and a host of friends
The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Gary Carter officiating. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
