Rex Allen Toone, 62, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
He was the son of the late William Elbert Toone and Lorene Ervin Toone.
He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister, Glenda Dale Daly.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Toone, brother Jerry (Hilde) Toone, and sons; Randy (Sara) Toone, David Toone, and Patrick Toone, as well as one granddaughter, Emery Toone.
A visitation has been scheduled for Mr. Toone at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A chapel service has been scheduled the following day, Friday, December 30, 2022, also at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home to begin at 2:00 PM. Mr. Toone will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Foster and Bro. Leroy Clark will be officiating the service.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Toone, Jimmy Wayne Herring, John Cummins, Dean Murray, Edward Marshman, and Frank Barnett.
