Grady Sherman Jobe passed away on December 16th at his home in Huntsville. Born in New Market, Alabama on December 10, 1936, Mr. Jobe received his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University. He then began a career at The Marshall Space Flight Center at NASA where he worked for more than 40 years before retiring from his position in senior management. He derived great satisfaction and pride from his career. In his free time, Mr. Jobe enjoyed playing golf and reading. He also attended Mayfair Church of Christ. He was much respected at both NASA and in the Huntsville community, at large.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and his sister. Survivors include his wife, Joyce, and his son, Eric. Mr. Jobe was much loved and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery on Thursday December 22 at 2:00 p.m.
