Mrs. Paulette R. Brothers Mrs. Paulette R. Brothers, of Guntersville, Alabama, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 10 at the age of 77.
Mrs. Brothers was born on November 9, 1945 in Arab, Alabama to Welton Cleborn Rutledge and Arnice Ellen Louise Hooten. She was a homemaker, and loved being a mother and grandmother. She started the Homemaker’s Club of Arab, and enjoyed talking to her many friends on the phone. She will be missed greatly, and remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
Mrs. Brothers leaves memories behind to be cherished by her son; Kane Brothers and his wife Rebekah, brother; Grady Allen Rutledge, grandchild; Kristie Brothers (Cody Fowler), and nieces; Leigh Essig (Tim), Amber Steele (Ashley), Wendy Hoover and Meagan Floyd.
Preceding Mrs. Brothers in death are her husband; Kenneth Wayne Brothers, daughter; Kristie LeEllen Brothers, and parents; Welton and Arnise Rutledge.
A visitation with the family is scheduled for Tuesday December 13, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Services, officiated by Brothers Kane Brothers and Cody Fowler, will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
Interment will follow, officiated by Brother Phillip Gilliland, in Brookwood Cemetery. Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Brothers to her final resting place are Tim Hutchinson, Scott Hawkins, Bobby Burks, Robert Burks, Danny Hawkins, and Cody Fowler.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Mrs. Brothers’ name be made to The American Cancer Society or to Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
