THE SHOALS – “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”- Henry Brooks Adams

The Shoals Chamber has partnered with Northwest-Shoals Community College to provide an opportunity to recognize the incredible teachers across The Shoals. Each month throughout 2023, a teacher / educator / aide / counselor will be awarded “Teacher of the Month” based on nominations received.

“As a parent, even simply as a community member, I know that I can never say thank you enough to our teachers. To the ones who specifically influenced my academic career to those who are now a part of my kids’ lives, the impact of a teacher is immeasurable, and I am excited for the Chamber and NW-SCC to provide another opportunity to shout our appreciation across The Shoals.” – Caitlin Holland, President of the Shoals Chamber

Nominations for this school year (January – May) are open now and can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TOTM-23. Nominations for next school year (August – December) will open in the summer.

Northwest-Shoals Community College is the presenting sponsor of this initiative, with Lost Pizza and Singing River Dentistry sponsoring high school and elementary/middle school teacher awards respectively.
