Funeral for Beverly Jarman Langford, 52, of Decatur will be held at noon, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Rex L. Jarman Sr. officiating and interment to follow in Decatur City Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral service with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Beverly Jarman Langford was born October 15, 1960 in Morgan County to Cleveland Esther Jarman Sr. and the late Annie Fayetta Oliver Jarman. She departed this life March 1, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur Campus.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and later united with Love’s Chapel CME Church. She attended Morgan County Schools and Austin High School.
In addition to her mother and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by a brother, Cleveland Jarman Jr. and a sister, Sharon Rose Jarman Webster.
Beverly Langford leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Charlissa Holman, Houston, Texas; father, Cleveland Esther Jarman Sr., Decatur; five brothers, George Jarman, Decatur, Michael Jarman, Los Angeles, Calif., Rex Jarman and Ronnie Jarman, both of Decatur, and Leon Crayton, Hillsboro; four sisters, Annie Pearl Hatcher, Cleveland Ohio, Jamestta Wilkerson, Tuscaloosa, Sandra Calvin and Paula Johnson, both of Decatur; sister-in-law, Patricia Jarman, Decatur; two aunts, Pearly Woods, Florence and Delphia Jenkins, Inster, Mch.; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Flower bearers and pallbearers will be Austin High Class of 1979 and officers of Love Chapel CME and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
