Funeral services for Mrs. Ernestine Beakley Watson, age 85, will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time on Thursday.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time on Thursday.Mrs. Watson passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at her home in Rutherford, TN.
Mrs. Watson was a faithful pastor’s wife, a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Jackson, TN, and a wonderful wife. She will be missed by all who loved her.
Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Lena Beakley; and a brother, Ray Beakley.
Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Bob W. Watson of Rutherford, TN; a daughter, Diana Hinton of Marion, KY; her twin sister, Bernadine Barrow of Braidwood, IL; 2 grandsons, Adam Young of Nashville, TN and Timothy Young of Henderson, KY;
and several nieces and nephews.
