Louise Booker Luttrell, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Louise was born on January 16, 1944, to Samuel Ezekiel and Neva Inez Booker. She was of the Methodist faith, was a member of Rutledge-Salem United Methodist Church, and found peace in reading her bible every day. For most of her life, she was a seamstress. She enjoyed it so much that she not only worked as a seamstress, but she would also make her family’s clothing when she was able. In her free time, she liked to shop. One of her favorite things to do was go to yard sales. Even when she wasn’t quite able to get up and rummage through everything herself, she would have one of her kids walk around and bring the items back to the car to find what she wanted. Her family was the light of her life, and she loved spending as much time with them as she could. Louise is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Johnny Dean Luttrell; her son, Rev. Benjamin Dean Luttrell; her daughter, Susan Louise Luttrell; her brother, Samuel Ezekiel Booker; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Ezekiel and Neva Inez Booker; and her grandson, Johnny Lee Bonds. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Rutledge-Salem cemetery, officiated by Rev. Ben Luttrell and Rev. Gary Glazier. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to either the Rutledge-Salem cemetery or to the family. An online guestbook may be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com.
