Mr. Melvin Adams Jr., age 62 of Boligee, formerly of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Hospice of West Alabama. Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Norwood Wyatt Chapel. Services for Mr. Adams will be Friday, November 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Mr. Adams will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Hopewell Rosehill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, Martha and Melvin Adams and a host of aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Adams; son, Terry Wayne Adams; Sisters, Minnie Pearl, Minnie Ruth, Minnie Fay, Minnie Lorraine; and one granddaughter.
