Roy Terrell Henderson Jr.Roy Terrell Henderson, Jr. was born October 18, 1963 to his adoring parents, Grace and the late Roy T. Henderson in Savannah, Tennessee.

He attended North Elementary, Hardin County Junior High, and graduated from Central High School in 1982. Some of his early business and work ventures included buying pigs to bring to market, selling used cars for Marvin Franks, and working for Vulcan Company at the paper mill PCA. After attending MTSU for a year, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to seek out business opportunities. He worked as a sales representative at Frank Davis Buick, selling many new cars to happy buyers. Terrell yearned to be his own boss, and began working for a painting company to learn the business. Eventually, he started Henderson Painting Company, which specialized in commercial projects.

Terrell married his college sweetheart in 1997, and welcomed a daughter in 2004. After several years of success in the painting business, he returned to Hardin County in 2010.

Terrell was an avid fisherman, boater, and enjoyed camping with his family. He loved dogs, cars, and cooking. There was nothing he couldn’t cook on a grill. Old movies entertained him, especially war films and westerns. He loved the music of George Jones, The Statler Brothers, and Elvis. Reminiscing about family memories brought him joy.
