Bobbie Nell Davis Adcock, 90 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Adcock was born on November 13th, 1931, in Lauderdale County, to William and Flora McLemore Davis.
Mrs. Adcock is survived by her son Larry A. Owen (Amelia); daughter-in-law Phyllis Nix, of Mobile; granddaughter Laurie Johnson (Aaron), of Cullman; great-grandchildren Natalie Johnson, Clay Johnson, Lydia Johnson, and Grant Johnson; sister Robbie Ruiz, of Grayslake, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands William Thomas Owen, Jr. and Marvin E. Adcock; son Donnie Nix; and brothers Deroy Davis and Billy Joe “Buck” Davis.
A graveside service for Mrs. Adcock will be Monday, November 7th, at 1:30pm at Limestone Memorial Gardens, with David Cox officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00-1:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Aaron Johnson, Grant Johnson, Larry Holt, Larry Mitchell, Marvin Petman, and Patrick White.
Mrs. Adcock attended Market Street Church of Christ. Her joy was gardening and growing plants.
