Deanie Wade Jones, age 60 of Decherd, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at The Waters of Winchester. He was born on March 30, 1962, to the late Bobby Dean and Henrietta Gail (Hill) Jones. Deanie served his country in the United States Army before working at AEDC as a painter until his retirement. He was a three-time champion of the Golden Glove Boxing Award and a member of the Tullahoma Boxing Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing softball. Deanie is survived by his loving children, Justin Wade (Bobbie) Jones of Decherd, and Chasity Nichole jones of Winchester; brother, Donnie (Sherlon) Jones of Winchester; grandchildren, Ashlee Cross, Samantha Luthringer ,Quentin Corvin, Zachary Corvin, Ariel Covin, Zoe Jones, Justin Jones Jr, Payton Jones, Dakota Jones, Jaiden Barnett, and Ryan Caulk; great-grandchildren, Cayden Luthringer, Evan Cross, Greyson Cross, Carter Allen Wayne Jones, and Ivey Rose Jones; mother of his children, Tina Louise Shealey Phillips; and nephews, Joshua Jones and Ryan Jones. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Chad Conn officiating.
