Funeral services for Mary E. Morrow Beckman, age 72 of the Shinbone Community will be held on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Union D, Baptist Church with Bro. David Holcombe and Bro. Eugene Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining Cemetery.
Mrs. Beckman was a lifelong resident of Clay County and was primarily a homemaker and housewife. She was very crafty, enjoyed painting and was a member of Union D. Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Lynn Hyatt (Jeff) of Oxford; 2 sons: David Brott of Utah and Rudy Brott of Texas; two grandchildren: Wesley Hyatt (Chelsea) of Oxford and Bailee Hyatt (Kaylee) of Oxford; three great-grandchildren: Armenda James Hyatt, Ada Dylan Hyatt and Brooks Oliver Hyatt; her sister, Sarah Morrow Johnson (Russell) of Shinbone; three brothers: Leon Morrow (Landa) of Shinbone, Nelson Morrow (Oxford) and Charles Morrow (Linda) of Shinbone, plus a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Leon Morrow and Lurie Parker Morrow and her husband Troy C. Beckman.
Active pallbearers will be Leon Morrow, Charles Morrow, Nelson Morrow, Kenneth Bell, Wesley Hyatt, and Bailee Hyatt.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at Union D Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00.
