Ethel Mae "Sis" Clark Ethel Mae “Sis” Clark, 91 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022, at Limestone Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Clark was born on March 26th, 1931, in Limestone County, to Henry and Florence Hardy Abernathy.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughters Deb Cruse (Walt) and Sandra Gee (Donny); son Larry Harris (Elaine); grandchildren Michelle Prewitt, Jason Gee (Jennifer), Rodney Nave (Melissa), Brent Harris, and Lacey Kahana (Holly); 7 great-grandchildren; 1 ½ great-great-grandchildren; and brothers Billy Abernathy of Orlando, Florida, and Dennis Abernathy of Glade Water, Texas.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband Clois G. Clark, Jr.; grandson Nicholas Nave; brothers Gene Abernathy, Tom Abernathy, Lifford Abernathy, and Jerry Abernathy; and sister Gladys Brown.

There will be a private family-only graveside service for Mrs. Clark.

Mrs. Clark was the owner and operator with her husband Clois for many years selling antiques at Clark Antiques
