Funeral service for Shelby Jean Lawrence will be on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 2:00PM at Soul Harbor with bro. Ralph Henderson and bro. Jimmy Flynn officiating and Peck funeral home directing. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Lawrence was born on April 16, 1957 in Cullman Alabama to Henry and Lessie Grant. She died on October 26, 2022.
Mrs. Lawrence worked in manufacturing for GTE for Nineteen years. She was a member of soul harbor missionary Baptist church and enjoyed playing the piano for the church. Mrs. Lawrence was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Evelyn Burleson.

Husband: Roger Allen Lawrence
Two Daughters: Cassandra Jean Cook (Douglas Mathew Cook) and Ashley Nicole Lawrence White (Alexander Charles White III)
Two Brothers: William Robert Grant and Norman Grant
Four Grandchildren: Nicholas David Cook, Elizabeth Nicole Lawrence, Cameron Alexander White, and Braxton Charles White.
