Al Stone, Jr., age 61, of Fayette, AL, passed away on Sunday, October23, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Love Joy Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
Al was born on April 9, 1961in Columbus, MS to the late Alfred V. Stone Sr. and the late Mildred Haney Stone. He was a 1979 graduate of Sulligent High School and later attended Bevill State Community College. Al previously worked at Apex Ammunition in Columbus, MS. He was a Mason at Lodge#532 and enjoyed fishing, working on guns and was an avid Alabama football fan. He also loved politics.
