Jane Ann Cooper, 75, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Cooper was a lifetime resident of Russellville and a member of East Side Church of Christ. She was retired from the Franklin County School System. She was also a 50 plus year member of the D.A.R, (Daughters of the American Revolution), a member of the Russellville Civitan Club for many years, the Red Hat Association, A.E.A. and N.E.A. since 1972, the U.N.A. Alumni Association, Southern Ladies Cameo Guild and Alpha Delta Kappa, an honorary sorority for women educators.

The funeral service will be Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating will be Johnny Richardson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from noon until 2:00 p.m.

Survivors include husband, Darold Cooper; son, Niles E. Cooper and wife, Chrissy Williams Cooper, Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandson, Christopher Niles Cooper; nieces; and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jerold Rogers, Randy Cooper, Rayburn Bishop, Tommy “Tinker” Malone, Gary Odom, Lanny Norris and Donald Borden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Niles and Adrienne Allen; and son, Darold Bradley Cooper.
