James Dannel Ferrell, Jr, 87, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, October 20th, 2022. The graveside service for Mr. Ferrell will be Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Athens City Cemetery. Burial will be at Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Ferrell is survived by his son James “Jimbo” Ferrell, III (Connie); Darlene Wilson (Jimmy) and Fon Dabbs (Jimmy); three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife Reba Ferrell
Mr. Ferrell was a member of O’Neal Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Army based in Germany.
