Jeanette Jones McVay, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022.
Mrs. McVay was born October 15, 1934 in Sallis, MS. She graduated from Northeast Louisiana State College (now University of Louisiana-Monroe) in 1956. Prior to her retirement from Civil Service in 2010, she served as the Budget Officer for the Redstone Arsenal Garrison.
Mrs. McVay was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Morris and Dorothy Jenkins Jones, and brother, Ben Jones.
She is survived by her children, K. Wayne (Deborah) McVay of Taft, TN, and Donna (Steve) Watts of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Ryne Watts of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Paige Watts (Kevin Walden) of Smyrna, GA, Derek (Rachel) Surles, and great-grandson, Dillon Surles of Prattville, AL.
Graveside service will be Monday, October 24th at 10:00 AM at Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mike Glenn officiating.
