Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Elizabeth Carlton, age 97, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Doris Chapel Church of Christ with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time on Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Carlton, a retired LPN at Gibson General Hospital and a member of the Doris Chapel Church of Christ, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Trenton Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Carlton was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Carlton; and siblings, Charles, Lois, Ruth, and Margaret.
Mrs. Carlton is survived by a son, Mikey Carlton; a daughter Carol Harbin (Gary); five grandchildren, Brice, Lee, Dana (Chris), Lori Ann (Wade), and Brian; seven great grandchildren, Tanner, Carter, Laura (B. L.), Hinton, John Paul, Madlyn, and Lauren (Tyler); two great-great grandchildren, Cullen and Lane; numerous nieces and nephews; and by a special longtime friend, Priscilla Jones.
