A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Gustava C. Mason, 92, will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Eva Cemetery with Bro. Josh Mason officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Mason died on Friday, October 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born March 8, 1930, in Lauderdale County, to Thomas Wister Cornelius and Sally D. Thornton Cornelius.
She was a member of the Eva United Methodist Church, a Co-Owner of Mason Photography Studio and Co-Owner of Craft Shop. She was employed, prior to her retirement, by the Morgan County School System as a School Secretary. She always enjoyed going to musical gatherings and loved camping with her husband Gwinn, prior to his passing in March of 2017. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceding her in death were her husband of almost 69 years: Gwinn Mason, a brother: Tommy Cornelius, her parents, her in-laws, and other family.
