James Randy Watson, age 59 of Huntland, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at his residence. Randy was born on May 2, 1963, in Winchester to the late James Edward and Mary Ann (Clark) Watson. Randy was self-employed in the construction industry. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved riding his ATV in the mountains, spending time with his animals, and vegetable gardening for his canning and cooking. Randy will be remembered as a devoted caretaker for his sister, Anissa before she passed. In addition to his parents and sister, he is preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Ann Watson; grandparents, Lonzo and Mary Elise Clark and Edward and Elizabeth Watson. Randy is survived by his son, Mason Watson of Belvidere; special sister, Paula Clark (Steven) Carr of Ankeny, IA; several aunts, cousins, friends, and extended family who cherish his memories. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 2:00pm from the chapel with Bro. Bobby McBee officiating. Interment will follow in Watson Cemetery with Rickey Russell, Dale Moody, Chris McBee, Colton McBee, Homer Clark and Trenton Matela all serving as pallbearers.
