Wanda Ann Hunt Middlebrooks, better known as “Peachie”, age 70 of the Lickskillet Community, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022. Ms. Peachie was born on June 14, 1952 in Buffalo, NY to the late Willie Hunt, Sr. & Gertrude Burt Hunt. She graduated in 1970 from Collinsville High School. She was active in Wreaths Across America, a member of Ruhama Baptist Church and a retired Beautician.
Funeral services will 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Miller and Rev. Shaunathan Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Walkers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Denny Middlebrooks; sons & daughters-in-law, Eric & Jamie Middlebrooks and Kenny & Candace Middlebrooks; sisters, Betty Bailey and Charlene Smith; grandchildren, Logan, Kobi, Lily, Jake, Karly, Makenzie, Greyson, Ty, and Koen; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Willie Hunt, Jr.
